Sharjah Stadium is the home ground of the Sharjah Football Club of the UAE team. This stadium, which can accommodate more than 11,000 spectators, has witnessed the glorious history of the Sharjah Football Club. In order to meet the requirements of the Asian Cup, the venue required upgrades for the stadium facilities and CCTV network to connect the surveillance cameras in the stadium to the core equipment room using industrial switches. The solution adopts the RG-IS2700-P series industrial switches, which are deployed in different locations in the venue to supply power to the cameras through PoE technology and provide fiber backhaul. The RG-S5750 core switch of the surveillance platform is connected to the access switches via fiber ports and accesses the cameras via PoE, which simplifies the solution topology and shortens the implementation period.
