The Authentication, Authorization and Accounting system (also called triple-A system) refers to 3 elements that are key to network configuration, security protection and protocol controls, whereas authentication refers to verification of the user identity and eligible Internet services, authorization means what Internet services are eligible to the authenticated users, and accounting records the data traffic of different Internet services and provides this information to the billing system.
