Ruijie RG-AP630 Series is a family of top-class 802.11ac wireless access points for next-gen high-speed wireless network applications. The RG-AP630 Series consists of 3 models:RG-AP630(IDA), RG-AP630(IODA) and RG-AP630(CD).

The RG-AP630 (IDA)/(IODA) offer access rates up to 1.75 Gbps and the RG-AP630(CD) supports 1.167Gbps access rate. The RG-AP630 Series takes full care of security, RF control, mobile access, QoS, seamless roaming and other Wi-Fi aspects. Teaming up with Ruijie RG-WS Wireless Controller Series/Cloud AC, the APs offer Wi-Fi user data forwarding, advanced security and access control with ease.

The industrial-class AP enclosure (IP67 rated) can withstand extreme outdoor conditions and hence simplify device installation and maintenance. The RG-AP630(IDA) is built-in with directional antenna while the RG-AP630(IODA) offers internal omnidirectional antenna. An extensive collection of external antennas is also available to overcome various deployment challenges. Both AP models support automatic switching between the external and internal antennas. RG-AP630 (CD), equipped with built-in directional antenna, can achieve the outdoor Wi-Fi coverage under extreme outdoor conditions in vast majority of the scenarios. In addition, the RG-AP630(IDA)/(IODA) uniquely support a PoE OUT interface of 802.3at standard, facilitating streamlined integration with other monitoring devices for high-quality, real-time transmission of surveillance data. The PoE deployment makes the APs more adaptive to outdoor scenarios such as large campuses, enterprises, hospitals, commercial towers and settings alike. Multi-hop and point-to-multipoint wireless bridge features further enhance the deployment flexibility. Wireless connections in extreme environments
RG-AP630 series APs are wireless AP products oriented to the next-generation high-speed wireless networks. RG-AP630 series apply to the operating environments of –40°C to 55°C temperatures and 5% to 95% humidity and scenarios such as wireless cities, video backhaul, and village wireless broadband access. The APs are equipped with adjustable brackets and PoE OUT ports, to reduce project deployment workload and facilitate maintenance.
Easy Installation, Simple Deployment
Flexible bracket design applicable to multiple scenarios
APs can be installed on walls, vertical poles, horizontal poles, inclined poles, and bold poles. The bracket is adjustable from –60° to 60° in the horizontal direction and 0° to 90° in the vertical direction to optimize network coverage, facilitate deployment and maintenance of Wi-Fi networks, and reduce network deployment and maintenance costs.
Superb Capabilities and Features Coping with Extreme Environments
RG-AP630 is operational in environments of–40°C to 55°C temperature and 5% to 95% humidity.
RG-AP630 employs a totally enclosed enclosure, so that it is waterproof, dustproof, and moisture proof, and provides lightning protection and flame retardance. RG-AP630 meets the IP67 requirements and can be placed outdoors for a long period of time as it can easily face tough environments, such as wind erosion, rainfall, and moisture.
RG-AP630 can operate in environments of –40°C to 55°C temperature and 5% to 95% humidity. Metal components are employed to ensure reliable heat dissipation in extremely hot weather, while the built-in smart heating module ensures reliable operating of the AP in extremely cold weather. This helps the AP to handle cold environments in the north and damp environments in the south.
Built-in Smart Antenna to eliminate coverage dead zones
The RG-AP630's built-in antenna enables real-time beam switching based on the location of the connected STA, ensuring optimal network experience at any time.
RG-AP630 (IDA)/(IODA) provides up to 1.75 Gbit/s access rate, while RG-AP630(CD) provides up to 1.167 Gbit/s access rate, and RG-AP630(IDA2) provides up to 2.533 Gbit/s access rate.
Flexible Switching Between Built-in and External antennas to reduce costs
The RG-AP630 AP supports external antennas and switching between built-in and external antennas (partial models). In multi-direction and multi-angle scenarios, the AP does not need to be replaced, and antennas can be flexibly selected based on the scenario requirements.
Wireless Bridging
The latest 802.11ac protocol is adopted and HD video backhaul is supported.
The wireless distributed system (WDS) technology is supported to provide AP coverage or a wireless bridge.
The bridge can meet the WDS bridging function for up to 5 hops, so that wireless bridging can be completed even at a long distance.
The point-to-multipoint (in CPE scenarios) bridge function is also supported to ensure more flexible wireless networking. The bridge function meets requirements for outdoor large-scale wireless coverage and long-distance high-speed wireless interconnection, eliminating difficulties in outdoor wireless deployment.
 
Bluetooth Serial Port for Convenient Maintenance
The Bluetooth serial port management mode is provided. When the AP is faulty, pole-climbing is not required. Operations and control can be performed on a mobile phone.
 
PoE OUT Port for External Power Supply, Real-time Video Surveillance Signal Backhaul
The RG-AP630 PoE OUT port can supply power to external devices. It can directly connect to the video surveillance device in the deployment location and transmit video data to the surveillance room over the wired or wireless network. RG-AP630 not only reduces the construction difficulty in monitoring device installation, but also reduces cabling costs (partial models).
The administrator can directly perform operations on the AP over the remote network. This prevents power supply inconvenience and greatly reduces the deployment difficulty and installation costs.
RG-AP630 (IDA)/(IDA2)/(IODA) supports the enhanced Ethernet power supply standard (802.3at) while RG-AP630(CD) supports 802.3af. The Ethernet port can receive communication data and power over the Ethernet cable through the PoE switch or PoE adapter.
